What we keep

• Your email address and name, so you can sign in and family know who you are.
• Your photos, with their captions, the date they were taken, and the galleries you create.
• Who you share with: the email addresses you invite.
• Sign-in records: when you signed in, which browser you used, and your IP address when requesting a code (to stop abuse).

Cookies

We only use cookies we need to make the site work: one to keep you signed in (for 30 days after your last visit), and short-lived ones for security and messages. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Photo information

Photos from phones often contain hidden details such as the camera and location. The smaller copies we show in galleries have this removed. The original file, which signed-in family members can download, keeps it.

Who can see your data

Only people you share galleries with, and our small team when needed to run the service or deal with a report. We don't sell your data or show ads.

Your rights

You can change your name, download your photos, and delete your account at any time. For a copy of the data we hold about you, email james_familyapp@jb47.co.uk.
